Grandpa Dave is an aardvark. Grandpa Dave is Arthur, D.W. and baby Kate's maternal grandfather and the father of Fred, Jane, Jessica, and Lucy. He lives on the family farm in the country, which has been in the family for over 150 years. In Grandpa Dave's Memory Album, he is revealed to be in the early stages of Alzheimer's Disease.
