Lakewood Elementary School is the school where Arthur and his friends go to. The principal is Herbert Haney, and has 9 grades, but to this date it has only shown 5 grades. It has a rivalry with a school called Mighty Mountain Elementary School.
In the episode "April 9th", they got a fire at the school, so the students went to the rival school, Mighty Mountain Elementary School instead of their school.

Mr. Ratburn's class is very organized. The kids sit in four desks put together in four rows. Mr. Ratburn sits at the front of the class. There is not a lot of artwork in his classroom.
